ANTHONY

Commonly known around the gym as "Ant",he started as a trainee at Studio One, straight from High school, completing certificates 3 and 4, and a diploma in Personal Training, he officially qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2010. 

Ant has also worked with physios and doctors in implementing and planning rehabilitation programs. He is Passionate about weight training both as a means for weight loss, and the long term benefits that are associated with strength training. 

Ant played football growing up and trialled for the Knights throughout school. Determined to understand clients more, Ant has completed two marathons and 2 triathlons.  

MICHAEL

Previously overweight and out of condition Michael started training at Studio-One after feeling embarrassed by a bad experience at a large gym. Within 12 months Michael was fit, had completed Certificates 3 & 4 qualifying as a Trainer, & was working part time at Studio-One. In 2003, Michael purchased the studio, and continues to work as the head Trainer. He continually furthers his expertise & knowledge through Rehabilitation, Massage & Personal Training Workshops and has a strong network of health & fitness professionals to call on for further advice.

With 15 years experience in fitness Michael hasn’t looked back; he began running to lose weight & now has competed in 50 marathons, multiple triathlons and 3 ironman events. Michael uses this experience to train clients for their first run, whether it be 5km,10km, half or full marathons. He enjoys seeing his clients achieve their (often life changing) goals on the way. You’ll often see daughters Emily & Grace, & his wife Stephanie training alongside him at the gym or joining him in Marathons & other sporting ventures. Michael has also been a Retained Firefighter, based in New Lambton, for the past 6 years.
